Payroll Advisor Job Vacancy

This fast-growing, accountancy firm is looking for a Payroll Advisor to join their team in Banbury. This is a fantastic role for anyone looking to progress their career, as well as their own personal development.

What are we looking for? You’ll have a degree or equivalent experience, AAT or equivalent, or payroll qualification or equivalent experience. You’ll also already have experience of working on payroll, as well as demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills.

Job Purpose

  • To provide a high-quality payroll service to clients
  • To support the team with continuous improvement and efficiencies
  • Liaise directly with clients to prepare clients weekly, fortnightly, monthly, quarterly, and annual PAYE in a consistently timely and accurate manner
  • Liaise with H.M. Revenue & Customs for PAYE queries
  • Create strong relationships with clients and identify points for Partners to raise with clients and to raise potential for additional services

The Successful Applicant

  • AAT qualified or relevant experience
  • Experience of working on payroll
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • IT skills and knowledge
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to manage time and prioritisation
