They are now looking for a new Partner Designate in Cumbria to join the company and play a key part in examining their structure moving forward.  There is real opportunity for a Senior Accountant or Manager with a diverse technical skillset across Audit, Tax and Accounts, to shape both your own job role and the operational management of the firm moving forward.

As a new Partner Designate you will thrive in an environment that delivers to a diverse client portfolio, including working with some of the largest companies in the region, and balances a high level of corporate professionalism with a real family feel, a characteristic at the very heart of this well-established Accountancy Practice.

You will be working closely with the board to achieve the best possible financial management of the practice, driving efficiency, providing high quality management services to staff and outstanding internal and external customer service.  You will a confident decision maker comfortable in overseeing the timely completion of compliance and business related advisory services for all clients.

This role would suit a proven business winner, a Partner Designate capable of developing and maintaining high-level client to business relationships, adaptable to industry sectors and capable of delivering technical across all areas of the firm’s service provisions.  You will be a trusted advisory ensuring that the Practice is the first point of call for all your clients’ business needs.

You will play a key role in evaluating and manging existing systems, procedures and operational structure.  Where you identify that changes are required you will take a lead role in future implementation.

The Partner Designate responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for a portfolio of over 100 clients
  • Responsible for managing the workflow and production process
  • Responsible for ensuring financial accounts, returns and client projects are completed
  • Producing regular financial and practice management information and reports
  • Evaluating and managing systems and procedures to help develop the business
  • Assist and support the CEO in the strategic planning of the business
  • Delivering the annual business plan
  • Liaising with clients
  • Delivering specialist service areas

The role would appeal to a Qualified Accountant with strong Client Management skills and good levels of marketable insight. This is a great opportunity to join a growing department with the ability to shape the growth and the strategy for the service line.

You will need to have outstanding communication skills with the ability to deliver consistent and complex high-quality service for our firm’s clients.

You will also hold in depth knowledge of up to date laws and regulations.
