Senior Tax Manager

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Tax Manager (Corporate Tax) to join a well-established accountancy practice in Belfast. You’ll oversee corporate tax compliance and advisory work, supporting a wide range of clients while contributing to the continued growth of the firm’s tax offering across Northern Ireland and beyond.
The Role
As Senior Tax Manager, you’ll take responsibility for leading a portfolio of clients, managing both compliance and advisory assignments, and developing junior team members. You’ll work closely with the leadership team to deliver outstanding service and identify new opportunities for growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a varied portfolio of corporate tax clients
- Leading and reviewing corporation tax computations and returns
- Delivering tax planning and advisory projects such as restructures, acquisitions, disposals, and R&D tax claims
- Providing strategic advice on group structuring, international tax, and corporate reorganisations
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and acting as their trusted advisor
- Managing, training, and mentoring junior members of the tax team
- Collaborating with other departments to deliver joined-up client solutions
- Keeping up to date with legislative developments and ensuring compliance with HMRC requirements
- Supporting the firm’s growth initiatives through business development and networking
