Senior Accountant

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join a respected firm in Gwynedd.
The Role
As Senior Accountant, you’ll take responsibility for a wide-ranging mix of accounting and tax work while supporting a diverse portfolio of clients.
- Preparing year-end accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders
- Producing accurate and timely management accounts
- Preparing corporation tax returns, personal tax returns and related computations
- Providing feedback, support and informal supervision to junior team members
- Managing your own client portfolio and building strong working relationships
- Supporting clients with day-to-day accounting queries and providing financial insights
- Ensuring all work is delivered accurately and within agreed timescales
- Embracing cloud accounting software and supporting the firm’s continuous improvement initiatives
This is a varied and engaging role combining technical expertise, client service and advisory support.
About You
You will be a motivated and detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys a blend of independent working and teamwork.
You will:
- Be ACA or ACCA fully qualified (or equivalent)
- Have experience working in a UK accountancy practice
- Be confident preparing year-end accounts and tax returns
- Demonstrate strong communication and organisational skills
- Be comfortable managing your own workload and portfolio of clients
- Have a proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail
- Be familiar with cloud accounting software such as Xero, Sage or QuickBooks (preferred but not essential)
- Appreciate the benefits of flexible working while remaining committed to delivering high standards
