Audit Senior

We’re looking for a talented Audit Senior to join a thriving practice with a rich and varied audit portfolio.

This role offers the chance to work with a wide-ranging client base, from ambitious owner-managed businesses and SMEs to larger corporates across a variety of sectors. You’ll lead audits from planning to completion, supervise junior team members, and work closely with managers and partners to deliver exceptional service and insight.

Role Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll work across a diverse range of audit clients, including:

• Groups and medium to large companies

• Smaller companies that are part of wider groups

• Charities, insurance brokers, solicitors, housing societies, and unit trusts

You’ll play a key role in all phases of the audit lifecycle, from planning and fieldwork to completion, while also supporting and supervising junior team members to help develop their skills.

The firm uses Caseware cloud audit software; familiarity with this would be an advantage but is not essential. What’s more important is your strong technical knowledge, collaborative mindset, and confidence in handling all areas of an audit file independently.

We’re seeking a well-rounded Audit Senior who:

• Is experienced in end-to-end audit assignments

• Can take ownership of planning, fieldwork, and completion stages

• Enjoys mentoring junior colleagues and working as part of a supportive team

• Thrives in an office-based environment, with some flexibility to work from home when necessary
