This is an excellent opportunity for a Tax Senior to join a growing and dynamic accountancy practice in Lancaster. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality tax compliance and advisory services across a broad client portfolio.
The Role
As Tax Senior, you’ll manage a portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients, ensuring compliance requirements are met while identifying opportunities for tax planning and advisory support. You’ll work closely with managers and partners to deliver tailored solutions and develop strong client relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and reviewing personal and corporation tax returns
- Managing tax compliance processes and meeting statutory deadlines
- Supporting tax advisory projects, including restructuring, R&D claims, capital allowances, and succession planning
- Providing tax planning advice to individuals and businesses
- Communicating with clients to gather information, resolve queries, and provide proactive advice
- Reviewing work prepared by junior staff and supporting their development
- Assisting with HMRC correspondence and managing client enquiries
- Keeping up to date with UK tax legislation and sharing insights with the wider team
