You’ll also mentor and support junior team members and work closely with partners on advisory projects and client development.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with HMRC on complex technical matters and enquiries
  • Keeping up to date with UK tax legislation and supporting the team’s technical knowledge
  • Assisting partners in business development and contributing to the firm’s strategic goals

About You

You will:

  • Be CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Have at least 5 years’ experience in tax, ideally within a practice environment
  • Have strong experience managing both corporate and personal tax portfolios
  • Be confident in leading advisory projects and communicating technical information clearly
  • Possess excellent client relationship and communication skills
  • Have experience supervising and mentoring junior colleagues
  • Be proactive, organised, and capable of managing multiple assignments to tight deadlines
  • Demonstrate commercial awareness and an interest in contributing to business growth

The Firm

You’ll join a friendly and forward-thinking team that values collaboration, flexibility, and professional development. The firm encourages innovation, autonomy, and continuous learning, making it an ideal environment for ambitious tax professionals looking to advance their careers.

What’s on Offer

  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Hybrid and flexible working options.
  • Exposure to a wide variety of clients and complex tax work.
  • Ongoing professional development and CPD opportunities.
  • Supportive leadership team and collaborative culture.
  • Genuine progression opportunities within a growing national group.
  • A healthy work-life balance and modern approach to working.
