This Senior Forensic Executive job in Solihull is suitable for an ACCA/ACA qualified accountant currently working in a public practice accountancy firm with a minimum of 2 years PQE. It presents an ideal opportunity to join a high-profile West Midlands based practice with a proactive approach, and to gain full specialist training to progress into a Forensic role. The Senior Forensic Executive job involves working on specialist client work across the Coventry and Solihull offices. Those with previous experience of investigative work, business valuation or forensic work would be welcomed, although previous experience is not imperative.
This leading West Midlands based accountancy firm has a reputation for its service excellence and boasts a client portfolio which includes a range of industries and business entities of all size. The service offering includes Business growth advisory as well as the more traditional Audit, Tax and Accountancy services. This particular role is working within their Forensic Accountancy team, supporting the existing Director/Manager.
The main responsibilities for this Senior Forensic Executive job include:
– Preparation of forecast results and trend analysis
– Research of industry sectors and other project related research to support specific cases
– Liaising with parties to gather information and evidence
– Communication with legal advisers and/or other 3rd party contacts relevant to the case
– Working to set deadlines
– Preparation of written report sections and full reports in time (with support and training initially)
To be successful in this role you will need experience of accounts preparation, audit, and both corporate and personal tax computations along with possessing commerciality and understanding of business practices. The ideal Forensic Accountant will be self-motivated and hard working with the ability to self-review. You should have effective communication skills (both written and verbal). You will also need to be highly IT literate along with the capacity to manage multiple deadlines.
