Bookkeeper job in a Peterborough based accountancy firm.
Are you an experienced AAT qualified/part qualified or qualified by experience Bookkeeper who is looking to work for a highly successful firm of accountants that cover the whole of the Cambridgeshire area and beyond?
Do you have bookkeeping experience gained within an accountancy firm?
We are working with a leading firm of accountants to find an experienced bookkeeper to lead and take responsibility for their bookkeeping department.
The Bookkeeper will undertake the following work:
- Managing other Bookkeepers
- Controlling workflow through the department
- Reviewing the work of other Bookkeepers
- Balancing accounts
- Processing sales invoices, receipts, and payments
- Processing purchase invoices
- Completing VAT returns
- Dealing with financial paperwork and filing
The ideal Bookkeeper will be someone who can take ownership of this important function which plays a pivotal role in the overall running of the accountancy firm.
Excellent communication and technical skills are a prerequisite.
