Bookkeeper Job Vacancy

This independent, advisory led practice, with a dedicated team who work on a wide and diverse client portfolio, is looking for a Bookkeeper to join their successful team in Leicestershire.

What are we looking for? You’ll already have some experience working within an accountancy practice, especially around compliance. You will also have good analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as being able to work as part of team.

Job Purpose

  • Get involved in and support the preparation of income and expenditure accounts for clients, as required.
  • Assist with statutory accounts preparation.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of VAT returns.
  • Prepare and support with the submission of personal and corporate tax returns.
  • Support with payroll tasks, payments and bank reconciliations.
  • Work closely with the accounts team with any ad hoc projects, as necessary.
  • Work as part of a team that fosters a supportive and inclusive environment.
