This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and qualified (ACA or ACCA) Audit Senior who is looking to progress their career with a reputable and progressive accountancy firm who will provide tangible opportunities for career progression.
The responsibilities of the successful Audit Senior will include:
- Carrying out audit work for a diverse range of clients
- Planning and completion of audits
- Liaising and developing relationships with both existing and potential clients
- Attending client meetings (both pre and post audit)
- Reporting directly to and working closely with the Audit Manager
- Leading some audits and playing a pivotal role in larger audits
- Managing the audit team where appropriate
Ideally, the successful Audit Senior in Leicester will be fully qualified with 3 years’ experience in the Audit department of a busy public practice accountancy firm and will hold a full driving license as the Audit Senior will be expected to attend meetings with clients in their own offices; because of this and the fact that the Audit Senior will be managing a team of part qualified Audit Semi Seniors and Junior accountants, a high degree of interpersonal and communication skills are imperative.
