Role Responsibilities
Strategic & Operational Leadership
- Drive growth of the audit practice in the Bristol region through targeted strategy and leadership
- Improve and streamline audit operations to enhance efficiency and service delivery
Client Engagement
- Serve as the senior contact for a wide-ranging client portfolio, delivering expert advice and assurance services
- Identify new opportunities for growth and lead on proposal development and business pitches
- Attend and represent the firm at key networking and sector-specific events
Audit Delivery
- Oversee and review audit assignments from planning through to final sign-off
- Ensure all audits are delivered in accordance with regulatory and ethical standards
- Use your RI status to provide authoritative sign-off and maintain audit integrity
People Leadership
- Mentor, lead, and develop the audit team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence
- Take part in hiring, training, and succession planning activities to build a sustainable team

Candidate Requirements
- ACA/ACCA qualified with significant post-qualification experience in practice
- Registered Individual (RI) status is essential
- Proven ability to manage complex audits, deliver advisory-led solutions, and grow client accounts
- Excellent knowledge of audit regulations, accounting standards, and ethical frameworks
- Commercially savvy, client-focused, and confident in high-level conversations with stakeholders
- Strong leadership presence with a collaborative and inspiring style
