We are working exclusively with one of the leading accountancy firms in Manchester to appoint a number of Senior Auditors for to work in their stunning City Centre offices based in the heart of Manchester’s Financial District. This is an ideal opportunity for an Audit and Accounts Senior who would like to gain access to a diverse client base and an interesting mix of work. The Audit Senior Job will be roughly 70% audit biased, but requires someone with the necessary accounting skills to also complete some general compliance based work.
This North West based accountancy firm has been acclaimed for innovation in their approach to business advice and accountancy services. They have had a highly successful 2017 to date with numerous additional new clients joining the firm and now require the services of an experienced Audit Professional to support their busy audit delivery schedule.
The role would suit a confident Audit Senior looking to gain broader client experience. The Audit Senior Job will involve the management, planning and conduct of audit work within the practice as well as leading on a number of significant audit jobs.
Technically strong, you will have audit & accounts experience gained within a practice environment, coupled with excellent communication skills. You will be capable of leading the audit process from planning to completion as well as having involvement in the post audit meeting, confidently liaising with clients of all sizes.
- Reporting directly to the Audit partner and carrying out audit work from planning to completion
- Accounts preparation for Limited companies, Sole traders, Partnerships, LLP's & Charities
- Reviewing the work of more junior members of staff
- Taking full responsibility for the day to day audit process
- Working closely with the Partners to ensure the efficiency of the compliance department
