This leading Leicestershire accountancy firm has a network of offices spanning the East Midlands. Clients include a breadth of industries, with their services including Audit, Tax, Accounting, Corporate Finance, Business advisory, Wealth planning, Exit planning and more.

They are now seeking an ambitious Audit & Accounts Semi Senior to support the continued growth and success of the practice. Your opinion will be valued from the very start, and you will be provided with the mentoring and development you need to succeed. 

The Audit & Accounts Senior job is not for those who wish to be 'average' or to follow the crowd. We are looking for the shining stars of the Industry to help us shape a commercially minded team to match the changing requirements of our clients. You will be rewarded accordingly with a starting salary of up to £33k (depending on experience) and an enviable overall benefit package. 

The Audit & Accounts Semi Senior Job will involve: 

·         Working with and supporting a team of Audit staff both in the field and in the office

·         Attending post audit client meetings

·         Assisting with the planning & completion of audits for a wide and varied client portfolio

·         Building client relationships both on the phone and face to face 

·         Preparation of Statutory accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Sole Traders

·         VAT returns

·         Corporate Tax returns 

The perfect Audit & Accounts Semi Senior will be ACCA/ACA part qualified with a minimum of two years' experience of working within a busy public practice accountancy firm (with some Audit exposure). You will need to have the confidence to communicate with clients at all levels, and in return will quickly gain access to the kind of high calibre portfolio you need to develop. 

This role would suit an Audit Junior/Executive looking to progress within a fast paced and ambitious practice, or an existing Audit/Accounts Semi Senior looking to realise their full potential with support from experienced Partners.
