The perfect Accounts Assistant will be AAT Qualified with a minimum of 2-4 years’ experience of working in public practice and will work directly for an outstanding founding member of a growing and well-respected business.

Responsibilities for the Accounts Assistant based in Oxfordshire Include:
- Preparing the information received ready to be processed, checking for missing information up to trial balance
- Attaching receipts and relevant bank statements
- Entering sales and purchase invoices onto Sage 50 Accounts
- Reconciling the bank
- Printing relevant reports (i.e. Profit and Loss Account, Trial Balance, VAT Return, Nominal Ledger)
- Preparing VAT returns
- Completing CIS returns on behalf of the client
- Daily diary management
- Keeping the database up to date
- Liaising with HMRC
- New client credit checks
- Preparing holiday entitlement spreadsheets for payroll clients
- Involvement of annual tax packs for clients
- Involvement of annual updating of Taxwise Insurance for Clients
If you have an AAT Qualification and around 2 to 4 years’ experience of working in a Practice environment then this opportunity will be ideal for you. The successful candidate will be easy to work with, get along well with Clients from a variety of backgrounds and be able to demonstrate excellent work management skills, attention to detail and superb numerical ability.
