Client Manager Job Vacancy

This exciting opportunity is for a Client Manager to join this progressive accountancy firm. This is a pivotal role in the practice acting as a conduit between the Partners and wider staff, managing staff, client portfolios and workflows.

What are we looking for? You’ll be ACA, ACCA, CA qualified or qualified by experience. You’ll also already have experience of working in an accountancy practice, as well as excellent communication skills and a real passion for the delivery of excellence.

As a Client Manager you will have regular contact with clients, providing a range of general accountancy services to a diverse portfolio of individuals and businesses of all sizes and structures. You’ll also need to be technically excellent with close attention to detail and have a can-do attitude to problem-solving.

You will need to be a skilled leader and bring out the best in people; managing teams and supporting with their learning and personal development.

Job Purpose

  • Responsible for leading and managing staff, as well as career and personal development and managing their workflows.
  • Review, develop and enhance the firms existing policies and procedures.
  • Oversee a varied client portfolio in a wide range of industries.
  • Provide high standards of excellent customer service to clients by answering queries and resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Work on any ad hoc projects as necessary, such as cashflow forecasts and due diligence.
  • Contribute to the firm’s growth by helping to build good relationships with both prospective clients and existing clients.
  • Work as part of a team that fosters a supportive and inclusive environment.

The Successful Applicant

  • ACA, ACCA, CA qualified or qualified by experience
  • Experience gained from within an accountancy firm
  • Excellent analytical skills and close attention to detail
  • Able to successful manage a team
  • Able to work autonomously
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Able to work effectively as part of a senior leadership team
  • Proactive approach to work
